Disclaimer: I wrote this book. The idea for Greek for the Rest of Us came to me when I realized that no matter how hard I worked to help people learn Greek, most of them who never achieve the proficiency necessary to read the Greek New Testament with perception and feel for the language, nor be able to interact with the best of the commentaries. So I started to ask myself what I could do to help the situation.
Over time I came to believe that if a person could learn how to use the Greek tools properly, there was much to be gained. Greek for the Rest of Us should help you to gain a feel for doing Greek word studies, know why translations are different, ad how to interact with the best of the commentaries, all without learning the language.
This book works well with my Reverse Interlinear and Dictionary. With these three you can read the biblical text, see what the words mean, and know how to interact with the text.
I lectured through the textbook, and those lectures used to be included with the book. But in an effort to get the price down, we removed the lectures and they are now available at www.BiblicalTraining.org and www.Teknia.com/classes.
